The Greek Ship in Kish Island

The Greek Ship (Persianکشتی یونانی‎, Kešti-ye Yunāni) is the nickname of a cargo steamship, Khoula F, that has been beached on the southwest coast of Kish IslandIran, since 1966. She was built in 1943 by the British shipyard of William Hamilton and Company in Port GlasgowScotland, under the name Empire Trumpet. From 1946 to 1966, she passed through a series of British and Iranian owners and various changes of name.Her final owners were Greek and the nickname given to her derives from them.

TAQ BOSTAN; ARCH OF THE PARK

The Taq-e Bostan complex comprise a rock relief standing on its own and several more reliefs associated with two rock cut arches. They illustrate the investiture ceremonies of Ardashir II, Shapur II, Shapur III and Khosrau II. They also depict the hunting scenes of Khosrau.
